About Me

My Journey: The Beginning

I was always an athlete growing up, but I’ve had my struggles over the years both with fitness and nutrition. I’ve found that what works for some people, doesn’t work for others and vice versa. But through it all, I’ve fallen in love with fitness and it has become my lifestyle. This doesn’t mean I spend 3 hours in the gym per day and never take a day off. Instead, it’s a balance of some of my favorite things: working out and craft beer, salads and homemade desserts.

Professional Career

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. I’m also a Certified Personal Trainer through the NSCA, hold certifications to teach a variety of group exercise classes, and, most recently, completed the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification. I currently work in corporate wellness, providing a host of fitness services to employees at their onsite wellness center.

What I do for the employees I see every day is what I would like to do for you as well. I want to provide you with information and resources to assist you in living a healthy lifestyle. I want to give you an outlet to ask questions. Although I can’t coach everyone, I want this website to be a source of reliable, research-based information, as well as personal anecdotes, of course!
